Withe less than three weeks remaining until the grandest night in Tinseltown takes place, the 2012 Oscar hopefuls gathered together at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 84th Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon on Monday afternoon (February 6). Hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, eighteen of the twenty main category nominees made appearances including Best Lead Actor candidates Brad Pitt and George Clooney , as well as Best Lead Actress selections Rooney Mara and Michelle Williams . Other notable stars on the guest list included ladies such as Meryl Streep , Glenn Close, Berenice Bejo , Viola Davis, Melissa McCarthy, Janet McTeer and Octavia Spencer.
