Wanting to focus on his family and baby-on-the-way rather than legal proceedings, John Travolta has dropped charges against two alleged extortionists in the Bahamas. Being reminded of their son Jett’s death during each and every court visit, the “Wild Hogs” actor and wife Kelly Preston urged the judge to call off the case. Prosecutor Neil Braithwaite tells, “The Travolta family has said that this matter has caused them unbelievable stress and pain and they wish to put this whole thing behind them.” Of the decision to let Tarino Lightbourne and Pleasant Bridgewater walk free, John released a statement telling: “The long-pending status of this matter continued to take a heavy emotional toll on my family, causing us to conclude that it was finally time to put this matter behind us.
